A DREAM FROM A BOMBSHELL
A Dream from a Bombshell was the company's debut production, devised and directed by Anna Nguyen. It opened at the Deptford Lounge in 2014. A special adapted version of the show was made for the Vietnamese community in Deptford and Lambeth and toured to both community centers.
Born from the words of real life...
Born from the words of real life survivors and their children, A Dream from a Bombshell tells the story of the struggle between a mother (a first generation Vietnamese) and her daughter (a second generation Vietnamese) to communicate and live a normal life long after the final shells have fallen. "The Vietnam War was over, but why was it still in my house". Be ready to be immersed in a range of smells, sounds, terrain and unorthodox spaces. This story reflects the lives of those who carry the legacy of war.
